Press Release Pameran Merah | Muda

MERAH | MUDA : Pameran Seni Rupa Murni Angkatan 2015 ISI Yogyakarta (3 – 5 Maret 2017)

Seluruh mahasiswa jurusan seni rupa murni ISI Yogyakarta angkatan 2015 akan menggelar pameran bertajuk “MERAH | MUDA” pada 3-5 Maret 2017 di Jogja National Museum Yogyakarta. Perhelatan ini merupakan wujud semangat para perupa muda dalam proses berkesenian di bidang seni rupa. Dalam pameran angkatan 2015 ini, tak kurang dari 80 mahasiswa akan menampilkan karya-karya terbaiknya.

Pameran ini akan dibuka secara resmi oleh seniman Laksmi Shitaresmi pada 3 Maret 2017 pukul 19.00 WIB. Selama pameran berlangsung, selain dimeriahkan oleh performance art dan penampilan band musik dari Kopi Basi, Club Patah Hati, Rockmance, dll. Akan diselenggarakan pula serangkaian acara berupa Donor Darah dari Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) serta “Workshop Seputar Seni Murni” oleh Kelompok Seni Rupa Strawberry Skull Angkara Murka pada hari ketiga (5/03), di Jogja National Museum Yogyakarta.

Merah | Muda sengaja dipilih dan disepakati bersama untuk dijadikan tema atau pembungkus kegiatan kreatif ini. Merah dan Muda, bukan lagi sebagai kesatuan warna merah muda namun lebih menjelaskan tentang semangat baru yang sedang dibentuk oleh mahasiswa sebagai pemuda bangsa. Menurut mahasiswa seni murni 2015 selaku pameris, pameran seni rupa ini sebagai momentum penting untuk berproses kreatif dalam dunia seni rupa. Mereka merasa yakin bahwa darah mereka masih merah dan jiwa mereka masih muda. Semangat muda inilah yang menjadi modal utama mereka untuk memamerkan karya-karya seni baik seni lukis, seni grafis maupun patung.

Alfin Rizal selaku kurator pameran ini menyebutkan ada 60 karya utama yang dipamerkan. “Karya patung, grafis dan lukisan. Semuanya sudah siap. Ada juga beberapa karya yang dikerjakan secara kelompok dan karya-karya sketsa dari kawan-kawan murni 2015.” Jelas Alfin Rizal.

Dengan dihelatnya pameran MERAH | MUDA beserta serangkaian acara hingga hari penutupan, diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah untuk menyalurkan ide kreatif serta gagasan yang menggugah masyarakat untuk melihat dengan kacamata positif terhadap dunia seni. Menurut Fandi Angga Saputra selaku ketua pelaksana pameran, seluruh mahasiswa seni murni angkatan 2015 telah menyiapkan perhelatan ini dengan matang. “Pameran kali ini tidak hanya menampilkan karya secara mentah , tetapi lebih menekankan dampak, dan show off ide ide menarik dari para mahasiswa Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta angkatan 2015. Pameran ini dikuratori oleh Mas Alfin Rizal yang mengikuti proses kami sejak awal” Tutur Fandi. Secara lebih luas, pameran ini dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan seni rupa kepada para pengunjung yang berasal dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat.
